Europa Nostra will hold its 2018 General Assembly on the morning of 23 June at the Wilhelm von Humboldt-Hall of the Berlin State Library.
Europa Nostra Members from all over Europe will gather to discuss the latest European heritage related developments with a special focus on the European Year of Cultural Heritage 2018.
The meeting will also be dedicated to statutory matters, including the (re-)appointments of positions within the governing bodies of Europa Nostra, the approval of the preliminary budget for 2019 and the approval of the Annual Report for 2017.
The General Assembly will be followed by an excursion to the UNESCO World Heritage Palaces and Parks of Potsdam, including Sanssouci, a unique ensemble of architecture and landscape gardening from the 18th-19th centuries, frequently referred to as the “Prussian Versailles”. The programme will also include a visit to the Cecilienhof Palace, where the victorious powers of World War II met for the Potsdam Conference in 1945.
Prior to the excursions to Potsdam, Europa Nostra members are welcome to join for lunch (optional) at the Cum Laude Restaurant of the Humboldt-University.
