Deutsches Theater
Schumannstraße 13a
10117 Berlin

The panel debate with cultural leaders, experts and representatives of the European Commission is organised by Pearle* – Live Performance Europe, Deutscher Bühnenverein, Tanzfonds Erbe and the European Music Council. It takes a closer look at the shared heritage in performing arts and music and their role in creating an intangible heritage of the future. How do artistic leaders deal with the concept of shared heritage in theatres, concert halls and orchestras and how do they expect audiences to interact with this heritage when enjoying a live event?

Participants of the panel discussion: Michel Magnier (Director at Directorate General for Culture, European Commission), Anita Debaere (Director, Pearle – Live Performance Europe), Silja Fischer (General Secretary, International Music Council), Marc Grandmontagne (Director, Deutscher Bühnenverein), Jörg Löwer (President, Union for Stage Artists and Associated Professions), Madeline Ritter (Project manager Tanzfonds Erbe).
